Pensacola offers several opportunities for area residents to get into the great outdoors with their canine companions. Not only is Pensacola home to a traditional dog park with a fenced area so the dogs can run free, we actually have a great waterpark for dogs as well.
Located at 20th and Mallory Street in a section of the 28 acre Bayview Park, this off-leash dog park has separate fenced areas for small dogs and large dogs. This Pensacola dog park is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and offers water fountains, pooper-scooper stations, trash cans, benches and picnic tables. As if that wasn't cool enough, it is just across the parking lot from the Bayview Water Park for Dogs!
Located on Bayou Texar adjacent to the Bayview Community Center, this off-leash dog park combines beach and water so your canine companion can swim AND play in the sand. This Pensacola dog park is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and offers water fountains for dogs and their owners, pooper-scooper stations, trash cans, benches, picnic tables and a washing station.
At Summit Boulevard, in front of the Roger Scott Community Center, this off-leash dog park located in the heart of Pensacola offers an acre of fenced running room for dogs. It is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and offers water fountains, pooper-scooper stations, trash cans, benches and picnic tables.
Gulf Breeze has also gone to the dogs with the opening of the Gulf Breeze Dog Park in 2009. The Gulf Breeze Dog Park, officially named the Shoreline Bark Park is located at Shoreline Park just across from the Gulf Breeze Recreation Center and in the heart of Gulf Breeze. The park is open from 6am to 9pm and offers separate fenced areas for small and large dogs, water fountains, pooper-scooper stations, trash cans, benches and picnic tables.
